I live in a community called Starrett City or Starrett at Spring Creek in  East New York, Brooklyn, NY.  On January 22, 2010, a young boy went missing. He had been taken from his mother only a few weeks prior and was placed into foster care. There are theories as to where he is, such as someone from his family kidnapped him, but his 4-year-old sister was left in the foster home, so that doesn’t make much sense to me. Some think he ran away to try to get back to his mom, and he met with foul play along the way.  I am linking to websleuths because they have a thread with links to articles and such about this case.

Patrick has been missing now for over 3 months and the amount of police officers in the area looking for him is the same as it was when he first went missing. The police are not giving up, but this case has been compared to the Etan Patz case, which is scary since Etan Patz disappeared about 30 years ago and there hasn’t been a trace of him found yet. I pray for Patrick’s safety and return every day.

I decided to write about him today because I wanted to make more people aware of him and also because he has been constantly on my mind lately.

I would like to take today, this day of thanks, to thank you for all the hard work you do every day for missing children. I was looking at my old photos and I came across the one below and it reminded me how thankful I am for people like all of you. I told those other bloggers with no lives over at Humble’s Place that you guys weren’t on a vacation, you know. Ummmm, but they didn’t want to believe me. I always knew what the real plan was, you know. I see that Crazey was very angry about the trip you had to make. She needs to understand that even if the 4th finger gets cut off, the hand needs to go on and make as much money as possible, after all, this is ummmm, turning out to be one of Crazey’s most expensive shenanigans and mistruths yet, you know. Lol, kids these days, what are we gonna do with them! Well, I gotta run now, let me know when the next search is, I would love to join you in your efforts. I definitely need to work on my tan, ummm, I mean my search skills, you know. Oh and I am going to post a link to the photo over at Humble’s Place so that those damn bloggers will get to see the truth.

This is part of the post itself : One interesting statement was how Casey would use the name Zanaida when she was pulled over by the police for a traffic ticket. Zanny is a made up name that Casey used and it was a name that she used when she had a traffic ticket. She said it with a cool accent ” ZenaiTha” when she gave it to a cop according to one person at the discovery forum.

The reason I thought of this is because I was re-listening to the 911 call where Cindy gives the phone to KC to answer the operators questions. She does put on a little accent when she says Zenaida.  I had never noticed that before. I wonder who made the comment on the discovery forum…

I adopted Bella from my cousin when she was 4 months old. I fell in love with her at first sight and as each day passes and I watch her grow and learn she becomes more and more a part of my heart. I have different nicknames for Bella, including Lady Isabella, My Bella Vita, and Bella Mia.  She has only been a part of my life for 5 months but I can’t even remember life without her.

What does this have to do with KC or precious Caylee you’re wondering???

Well, yesterday, my son and I took Bella for a walk and a run. We take her to a fenced in area where we can take her off her leash and let her run.  It is long and narrow on one end and then it widens on the other end with a small swinging gate on each side to enter and exit . We always stay on the wider side but today something caught Bella’s attention and she ran to the narrow end. I turned around and didn’t see her for a second then realized that she was all the way at the other end. I couldn’t see if the gate on that end was opened or closed.

At that moment, panic set in. All I could picture in my mind was my beautiful puppy running out of the gate into the street, or someone taking her and keeping her, or her just wandering the street, hungry, alone, and scared.  My heart started to beat fast, I had a lump in my throat, and I felt like I might vomit.

Hellllooooo, this is a dog, and the thought of losing her brought out all of these emotions.  I have more emotions and feelings for my pet than KC had for Caylee.  Just the thought of my dog going missing was harder on me than KC’s beautiful little girl supposedly being missing was.

Oh, just for the record, if  I did lose her would I get a tattoo? Maybe one with a picture of her with “Bella Vita” underneath it. If only KC had named her baby Bella instead of Caylee, she might have been able to pull off the whole getting a Bella Vita tat while her only child was missing (murdered by her) plan.

It’s kind of a long story, but I will try my best to keep it as short as possible. In 1998, I gave birth to  my son.  His father and I broke up about 1 month after he was born.  Being only 21 years old, feeling alone and needing comfort, I decided to look for someone that I hadn’t seen in about 4 years. It was a childhood sweetheart who also had been a very close friend. I found out that he was incarcerated and had been for almost a year. At this time he was only 18 years old. I decided to go visit him and from then on we rekindled our friendship and fell in love.

In 2001, we got married in a prison in upstate New York. He had been sentenced to 8 to 16 years in prison. Over the years, we had some rough spots, but for the most part we were as happy as a couple in our situation could be.  In June 2008, at 28 years old,  after doing a total of 10 years in prison, he was released on parole.

To cut it short, a little over a month ago, we had a huge argument which ended with him leaving our home.  I was devastated. Or at least I thought I was. After about 3 days of him being gone, I felt as if someone lifted a weight off of my shoulders and I could finally breathe again.  I realized that I was happier without him. In fact, I realized that I was happier for the 10 years that he was in prison than I was in the past year since he had been home.

I also realize that he was so young when he went to prison that he now wants to explore the world and everything it has to offer, including other women. I had no solid proof but there were enough little things for me to believe it. Besides, a woman’s intuition is almost never wrong.

It took me a few weeks to get my thoughts in order and to admit to myself that I had been pretending for a year that I was happy when I really wasn’t. I have not posted or anything since this happened, but I have lurked every single day.  Humble, Bees, ECD, Southern, Kim, Mikka, Neicey, and all of you, who are way too many to name, I want to say thank you. Although none of you have known that I was there, I was, and you have all helped me to get through a difficult and confusing time. You guys have become family, a daily part of my life that I  cherish and I can’t even imagine going back to a time where I didn’t “know” all of you. I look forward to what the future holds for me and sharing it with all of you. God is so good and I know that nothing happens by accident. I have decided to put it all in his hands from here on out.

But, I wonder what he is telling her when it is just them, one on one. Is he trying to convince her to take a plea? Is he trying to convince her to confess? Or did she really put some KC-Kool-Aid in those brownies, and he is truly under her spell? 

I understand that if he gets a not guilty verdict on this case it could make his career, and when it comes down to it, that is his main concern, I just wish I could be a fly on the wall to hear what it is he is saying to her. I have a feeling that it may be different from what we see on TV.  What do you all think?

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. — Eyewitness News learned Tuesday that the family of Ronald Cummings, father of missing 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings, does not want any involvement by George and Cindy Anthony in the continuing search for Haleigh.

The Cummings’ attorney released a statement that said they believe the Anthonys have their own agenda. The Cummings’ say the facts relating to the death of Caylee Anthony, which resulted in the first-degree murder charges against Casey Anthony, are in no way similar to Haleigh’s disappearance.

The statement reads, “The family of Ronald Cummings, father of Haleigh Cummings, wishes to make it clear that they do not want any involvement by George and Cindy Anthony in the continuing search for Haleigh Cummings. The Anthonys have their own agenda, as witnessed by their recent media tour. The facts relating to the death of Calee (sic) Anthony, which resulted in the first degree murder charges against Casey Anthony, are in no way similar to Haleigh’s disappearance.”
